Problem: One of the biggest issues that young adults wrestle with during ages 18 to 25 is their self identity. Social media and popular brands have convinced young adults to put their identity in them, rather than substantive things like family, faith, values, etc.
Question: How might we help young adults have a better sense of their own identity?
Results: core is an app that asks users a reflective question at the beginning of every day. Once users have had a chance to think about their response, and journal in their core journal, the app prompts them to select from a list of core values, the ones they believe apply to their experience. Once selected, these values are added to the user's value "bank" where they are visually represented by importance to the individual.
